Management of tasks in Windows is not new. There are several Personal Information Management Systems (PIMS) that have been sold over the years (with only one effectively remaining at this point) that allow one to enter and track a To Do list. However, none of them have the flexibility provided by Task Master. Why? Given all of the other activities PIMS handle such as phone directories, agendas, e-mail, calendars, and even the Web, not much attention was given to their To Do list. Task Master does not attempt to be a PIMS, but it does handle your To Do list more quickly and efficiently in a fraction of the size of your PIMS (starts up faster and runs more quickly).  If you are task- or project-oriented, this program is for you!  Check it out!

 NT 3.51 is similar in look-and-feel to Windows 3.1/3.11.  Although 32-bit, it is incompatible with programs written to be visually compliant with Windows 98SE/2000/XP/Vista/7 and NT 4.0.

Installation

Installing Task Master is easy -- just run the downloaded installation program.   After an extensive integrity check, you will be prompted for installation options.

 If the MICROCode's Smart Install program reports that SETUP.INI or the install program itself is corrupt and you did NOT download it from this site, discard it immediately as it may contain a virus.  (You should also run a virus check program if that happens.)  To ensure program integrity, you should download your MICROCode Consulting programs only from this website.

As this is freeware, there is no need to register your product.

If you find any defects with MICROCode Consulting freeware, you are encouraged to report the issues so we can address them. There is no guarantee that issues submitted for freeware will be fixed, but we do make an effort. We suggest checking our support database to see if we already know about the issue.
